"Guys, I have something to tell you about Stephanie. I am really starting to like her a lot, and I want to continue dating her."

    "What?" Brian asked.

"Stephanie is a transsexual and has been living as a woman since she was nineteen. It doesn't bother me, but if it bothers either of you, I will stop dating her. She understands.

Victoria sat silent for minute, thinking of the right answer. As the defacto leader of the family, she would play the decisive role. Victoria, however, did not rush to pass the final judgement.

"Do you really like her. Dad?"

"Yes, I do. She is really smart and nice."

"Mom taught us to not judge people, and we learned in church that everybody, including gay people and transsexual, are all right. If Stephanie make you happy, I say go for it."

John called Stephanie from his bedroom after the kids went to sleep.

"Victoria gave you the green light. You are now officially my girlfriend."

Stephanie laughed with joy, "I am glad I am not stamped with the Kauffman seal of approval."

This story centers around an adult Trans woman and her trans girl Jeff who has been disowned by his parents. When Jeff shows up on her doorstep in California, can they somehow help each other? Still a bit optimistic, and Stephanie's boyfriend John is too good to be true, but the story has a balance and shows not everyone is happy when someone announces they are trans.
