Paula is tired of Dan and his sexist ways, but especially as it applies to his choices for her Halloween costume. It's always a Barbie or a nurse or a harem girl or a cheerleader.     A little later Debbie came by. "How's it going?" she asked.

    "I think I'm going crazy."

    "How so?" Debbie queried, looking at him askance.

    Dan thought about how much he should tell her. "I've been acting weird lately," he said. "Greg the hypnotist guy from the Halloween party said that I'm trying to understand why Paula broke up with me and why she went to such lengths to get me. I mean that whole cheerleader thing was pretty intense."

    "Is that why you're wearing a bra?"

    Dan looked down at his chest. "Oh shit. Is it obvious?"

    "Rather! Why don't you tell me about it"?

    So Dan did...

    "You've got to admit," she said, "Your voice could pass for a woman's. It's kind of deep, but has some of that breathy quality to it. The resonance sounds surprisingly feminine."
