    While the nail polish was drying, she picked up one of the two hat boxes and pulled from it a dark brown wig. It was styled in a feather cut which was currently popular among many women. She combed it out lightly, then brushed it out until it had fluffed up a bit from it's flattened condition in the hat box, where it had been reposing on a form. She carried it over to Jerry, and carefully placed it on his head, pulling it down on all sides until it fit snugly. Once again, with his head as the form, she brushed it out until it satisfied her.

    Finally she stepped back and said, "All done!"

    She led him to the bathroom door, which held a full-length mirror, and he was able to see the results of Diana's hours of handiwork. Looking back at him was a person he did not recognize. It was a woman! Not beautiful, but not ugly either. The face was passably attractive, but, as he said to himself, "That body needs work!"
