While he has never considered himself to be gay,
he is a wee bit effeminate-looking and has long
had a fascination with a female impersonator
named Marion May. He thinks "she" embodied a
perfect figure of femininity. On an impulse, he seeks
out Henry, the man who portrayed Marion for
many years. The young man convinces him that he
is sincere in his desire to be just like Marion. Flat-
tered but cautious, Henry takes him under his wing
and works to make his admirer into a faux girl every
bit as sexy and glamorous as his creation was.
The project is a success and "Marion March" is
born. The new girl is a magnificent creation who
finds "herself" being admired and desired by the
male of the species. One such person is Sheldon, a
successful writer, who is a afficionado of this exact
type of woman. Before long, the two are settling into
a very fulfilling relationship, both emotionally and
