Monday rolled around and I went to work. Having been sensitized, I noticed how I got into and out of the car. Damned if it wasn't like Carrie, including the adjusting of my "skirt" when seating and when I got out. Of course, if you are wearing pants, when you sit, you pull up your trouser legs a bit so that the knees don't get baggy, but there seemed to be a subtle difference I noticed that she probably would not have. Once I arrived at work, I got to work and forgot the whole thing, until 10 rolled around and again I was at the doctor's office. There, she hit me with a bombshell that I hadn't been expecting.

"Did you know, Dana, that your mannerisms are turning feminine" This is good for your work, you know, but have they asked you to wear feminine clothing for your tests?"

"What? Why should I do that?"

"You're testing for fit. Women's clothing is different in fit and movement than men's. I wouldn't be surprised if they were to ask you to do that. How far along are you on the testing for the long nail adjustments?"

"I've a ways to go, but it shouldn't be all that bad."

"Have you ever worn women's clothing?"

"Not that I remember. I've never been a member of the macho set; I don't see anything particularly wrong doing it, but I've never done it. Should I have?"

She smiled, "Of course not. Would you object to it now?"

"I don't know what Carrie would think, but I'd bet the guys at work would find it a great laugh! Anyone else who saw me would probably also laugh. That wouldn't be too pleasant, come to think if it. Yes, I'm sure I'd object."
