What can you say about a shopping expedition, for that is what it was. We visited more stores than I can even remember. I must have tried on dozens and dozens of blouses, skirts, lingerie and dresses. Then we went on to shoes, purses and accessories. All along she was coaching me, telling me of styles, colours, what goes with what, and what doesn't. I received an education that day! Of course, all of her coaching was in a low voice so that the others around us did not notice my inadequacies, which were diminishing as the day wore on.
