In book 1, a rebellious young male is sent to a distant aunt to be straightened out from his rebellious ways. She declares he'll be treated the age he acts and is put into a childish bodice kilt and laughed at by her teenage daughters. He gradually becomes more sissified and turned into the oldest daughter's groom. He is then sent to beautician's school, there mistaken for a made and thus he's turned into one and then into a girl.
